New this week: The Toronto Dominion Bank has a “Mobile Forest” that it’s rolling out TODAY, like, RIGHT NOW, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (eastern) on the Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden campus at 1000 Richmond Terr., in the East Lot adjacent to the museum. Visits to the Mobile Forest are free for all visitors.
Also, according to Lee Frelich, director of the Center for Forest Ecology, the severe winter may have helped wipe out a large percentage of Ash borer beetle larvae in our northern forests. Let’s hope. Read these stories, plus a rather rude comment from Table Mountain pine, and my blog, at my website.
